These were comfy and snug at first but they were tight around my pinky toe and causes some blisters. Hopefully they will be better with breaking them in more. These were also not as warm as I thought they'd be.
Hi Amy,
I am sorry to hear they are a little tight. They will soften and stretch a little with wear as they break in. Usually our boots and shoes do not need breaking in, but sometimes they do, and this should happen in a few wears as they fit to the shape of your feet. During this time I recommend wearing a plaster around the rub points to avoid blistering.
You should find you can wear these boots comfortably in sub zero temperatures, they are designed to be warm to wear through the seasons - please let us know if you have any issues with their insulation so we can help you further.

I really liked these boots but sadly had to return them as they were a real struggle to put on and I figured that would get annoying pretty quickly!
I purchased these boots in chestnut. Was very excited to received them, as I thought these would be perfect for Seattle winters. They are really cute and the chestnut color is beautiful. I normally wear a US 5 or 5.5 in boots, and size 5 fit well, with some room remaining in front so my toes didn't feel smooshed. As others noted in their reviews, they are tough to put on and get off and fairly narrow. I definitely don't have wide feet and in fact have petite, narrow feet. They were very painful to initially pull on and very tight around the foot at first. But within a minute, it felt like they magically conformed around my foot and were much more supportive than tight. I wore them around the house for an hour or so and they were very soft inside and generally comfortable. I would have kept these and tried to work with the wearing-in phase, except my feet strangely felt cold and clammy wearing these indoors. I didn't want to risk keeping them and wearing them out in the cold. The material is unfortunately not breathable and I don't want to have cold and clammy feet all day.
My biggest concern with ordering these was whether they would stay on well. I usually prefer shoes and boots to have laces, but I really like the look of these, for a more polished boot that's still warm. I have to say, it's absolutely not a concern. They fit snugly at the ankle and don't budge when I'm walking. They are toasty warm and the soles have great traction on winter snow and ice.
The only downside is that they are almost too snug at the ankle, to the point that it takes a bit of effort to get them on and off. They aren't something I'm going to slip on for a quick trip out to the mailbox. But I'll take the trade off, to have some good looking boots that I can tromp through slush and mud in all day, without worrying that I might leave a boot behind. They also clean up well and can look a bit dressier than hiking boots or nylon snow boots, which I appreciate. Great all-purpose winter boots.
I am happy with these boots so far. My feet are never cold and they fit well. The quality looks and feels great.
