Goodyear Welt Tactical Boots

Bought this pair to replace dying Dr Martens' 1460 boots which clearly didn't hold up to the brand's alleged standards. I tried to find a more durable and ethical option, and stumbled across these beauties. My order was processed on the 4th of July, and I got them today, the 7th, so that was really quick.

The hardest part was putting them on for the first time: the laces were tied really tight and the materials were a bit stiff at first. But once you have them on, they're perfect. After wearing them for the whole afternoon, doing daily tasks, resting and going for a walk, I have yet to feel any kind of pain or discomfort.

Style wise, they're really great and versatile. Everything is black, and the vegan leather equivalent has a shiny, smooth finish, hitting the right spot between completely matte and overly glossy.They look classic yet modern, and can be worn with basically anything.

These shoes are sold to last, and I sure hope they will. It's been one day and I am in love already. And when the day of their inevitable end will come, I'll be sure to buy another pair here.

Loved these boots when I first saw them, but I took a while to finally order them. When I did, WVS customer support helped me figured out sizing and gave me good advice on choosing the best out of three sizes I tried. Returning the one's that did not fit was easy and convenient, and the boots I chose are truly so comfortable and fit the exact style I was looking for. They feel and look very high quality. Adequate toe box, good arch support, stylish silhouette, and high quality vegan suede inner lining. Even after only a week of wear, I can feel that they are beginning to break in and I'm looking forward to many years with these boots!

These are definitely the most uncomfortable boots I have ever had. I wore them just for a day and my feet became sore and got blisters. They are definitely not small on my feet but the shape is least ergonomic I have ever seen. Furthermore, I have never understood the idea of having winter boots that do not have any lining. Non-vegan boots usually have wool lining. Why don't vegan boots have an equivalent of the wool lining? The feet still need to feel warm, right?
For the price I have paid, I am definitely feeling unhappy with my purchase.
