These boots are incredibly comfortable. I thought it would take time to break them in but they are so soft yet durable & I love the look of them.
I walk a lot throughout my work day & I have not had any blisters, rubbing, sore heels.
I am very pleased it’s them.
I recommend these boots this autumn/winter.
The brown Chelsea deep tread boots are horrible quality. See the photos. I bought a pair of BLACK Chelsea boots more than 3 years ago which I absolutely love and are still in good condition after wearing them 3+ times a week, even in the rain.
Made the mistake of buying the deep tread Chelsea boots in brown. Be warned, they are not the same quality whatsoever! The first time I wore them within 5 minutes of walking they had white creases on them (see photos, zoom in). I’ve continued to wear them occasionally because I paid a lot of money for them and noticed that even the elastic on the sides of these brown ones is worse quality - so much looser and has looked stretched out from the first wear (see photos). Quality of the material is awful. They’re WAY more creased than my black boots I’ve had for years. (See photos!) Really disappointed. These boots look cheap. And they’re not cheap. Waste of money.
Hi Ariel,
I am really sorry you are not happy with the uppers on your brown Chelsea Boots, I am looking into why they creased like this, as this is not something that you should expect to happen.

Fit really well, look good and very sturdy, will last a long time.
I love these, they've become my go-to shoe for winter, spring and autumn. They are very comfy and work well with my wide feet! The material doesn't look as authentically like leather as some of WVS's other shoes (like the brogues) - personally I don't mind that, but just to be aware of. I'm planning to buy these in black this winter (can't justify that purchase right before summer!)
I have always owned leather boots before but decided to try vegan boots. I am really impressed with how much these look like leather. They're also sturdy and comfortable (worn 3 times for evenings out, no blisters).
I knocked off a star for a couple reasons. 1) The fact that I couldn't order two sizes at a time was a drag, so I ended up placing a second order to be able to compare at the same timel. I did end up sizing up, and so they feel a little looser than I'm used to. 2) The boots are a bit stiff, and run a little high up the leg, so I do feel them knock against my shin when I walk which took some getting used to.
I'll also be curious to see how long they last (my leather boots usually last 4-5 years of hard wear) to assess overall impact to the planet.
